Today’s NYT Connections puzzle is here! Use these hints, clues, and the full answer to solve #733 without breaking a sweat.

Can you spot the hidden links? Today’s Connections puzzle is live—and it’s a tricky one. But don’t worry, we’ve got your back.

Connections has quickly become one of the New York Times’ most addictive word games—right up there with Wordle. If you’re hooked, you’re not alone. Each day, players race to find the “common threads” between a grid of 16 seemingly unrelated words. Sound easy? Think again.

Just like Wordle, Connections resets daily at midnight, and it tends to get harder as the week progresses. If you’re stuck on today’s challenge, we’ve rounded up helpful hints and gentle nudges to steer you in the right direction. Want to skip straight to the solution? Just scroll to the end.

What Is NYT Connections?

Connections is the latest brain teaser from The New York Times Games section, co-created by associate puzzle editor Wyna Liu. It’s already made a splash across social media, where players show off their wins (and losses) daily.

The concept is simple—but deceptively hard. You’re given 16 words. Your task? Group them into four categories of four, based on shared themes. These connections can be anything from types of software to ’90s pop hits or food items.

Sounds manageable, right? The catch is that some words look like they belong together, but only one correct combination will work. You get four chances to make a mistake before the game ends.

To help you out, the puzzle lets you shuffle the words on the board—a super useful feature when you hit a wall. Each correct set is color-coded:

  • 🟨 Yellow (easiest)

  • 🟩 Green

  • 🟦 Blue

  • 🟪 Purple (trickiest)

And yes, you can share your results with friends just like in Wordle. #humblebrag
